As part of the new regulation by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the entry fee for foreign tourists to the Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya-i Kebir Camii Şerifi) has been set at 25 euros. Turkish citizens, visiting the mosque for religious reasons, are exempt from this fee. Additionally, the entrances and security measures have been reorganized to reduce and regulate the influx of visitors.
